However, I have been able to easily schedule around my personal appointments or any other reason to be out of office. I've had weeks working 17 hours, and weeks working 39 hours. Scheduling was often abrupt, adding in trainees the morning of or not letting you know that you wouldn't be working certain days. The unfortunate part about this job is that communication within the company is TERRIBLE, and often I would not receive any response for weeks at a time, if at all, for any of my problems. You get good days and bad days, depending on the field and what types of patients are on the schedule. I've been placed into Family Medicine, Peds, Psych, and Women's Health, and they all came with their respective learning opportunities. The job itself is incredible insight into the medical field. The physicians are great and friendly for the most part, and I enjoyed creating relationships with them. Your feedback helps us grow and improve, so again, thank you for your review, and we wish you all the best in the future. We have just rolled out a host of benefits that will add more value for scribes, including 100% paid training, GRE and MCAT prep materials and test reimbursements, letters of recommendation, and more. We don't expect to be able to pay the most however, we do believe we provide an overall experience that will optimize our scribes' opportunities to get into graduate school and/or launch a career in medicine. We have always seen our primary value to our scribes as the quality experience we provide and how it can apply to their resume' and discussions with medical colleges, universities, and future employers. We are committed to setting clearer expectations, following through on issues in a timely manner, and communicating quickly with meaningful information to address and reduce our scribes' concerns.
